Aku dan teman-teman terperangkap dalam kesesakan jalan raya... Dari Jalan Sultan Ismail -Jalan Ampang - Jalan pinang. Huiihhhh padahal dekat sahaja dengan pejabat, jadi berejam di dalam kereta! Perut kami kreok-kerok menahan lapar. Kak Lin tiba sejam awal daripada kami, kesian terpaksa setia menunggu.... Kami semua nak meraikan hari lahir Juju dan Noreen yang dah lepas. :)

:) Dah lama aku tak menonton wayang.
Petang itu dari rumah Opah, aku dan Adik menghantar Bilan ke rumah dahulu kemudian kami pun bergegas ke Wangsa Walk. Rencana mahu menonton Tintin ;)

Alhamdulillah berjaya juga mendapatkan tiket. Tengok Tintin 3D.
Aku mula mengenali TIntin semenjak dibangku sekolah lagi (awal 90an). Terjumpa komiknya di perpustakaan sekolah, terus aku gian untuk meminjam komik-komik Tintin. Setiap kali ada Pesta Buku, aku akan mencari dan membeli komik Tintin. Tapi koleksi aku tidaklah begitu banyak, kerana bagi aku yang masih dibangku sekolah, mahal betul harga buku itu (kalau ikutkan waktu tu cuma RM belas-belas saja -tapi dah rasa mahal bagiku). Sekarang ini kalau ikutkan harganya lagilah naik. Tapi kini aku teringin nak beli yang komik kompilasi pula. Ada dijual di MPH dan Kinokuniya. :)

Dan aku pernah lihat foto-foto seorang teman yang telah pergi melawat Muzium Tintin, waaaaaahhh sangat terujanya aku melihat muzium itu. Bilalah aku boleh sampai ya ?

2 tahun lalu aku telah pergi ke Toys Museum di Singapura, itu sahaja aku dah rambang mata dan teruja tengok koleksi dan susunan figura-figura permainan. Teringin juga aku nak susun koleksi figura dan anak patung yang aku kumpul semenjak kecil sehingga kini. Di sana adalah figura Tintin dan anjingnya (oopsss terlupa pula namanya) yang aku ambil gambarnya... ni kena geledah folder gambar dalam komputer ni.... heheheh...

Family: Nautilidae.

The Chambered Nautilus is the last surviving genus of the nautiloids. The nautiloids were the largest predators in the seas of the Ordovician period, 450 million years ago. The Nautilus is found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Its most familiar characteristic is its smooth, coiled shell, up to 11 inches in diameter. The shell is lined with mother-of-pearl and is separated into a series of progressively larger compartments; the most recent of which is inhabited by the animal. The walls (septa) dividing the chambers are pierced by a tube (siphuncle) connected to the nautilus. Gas and liquid exchange occurs through the siphuncle walls, by means of which the nautilus can regulate its buoyancy. Nautiluses spend most of their time at depths of 600-800 feet, but rise to 200 feet at night to feed.

Interesting Facts: The Nautilus, which is related to the octopus, is the only cephalopod to have a true external shell. The form of the shell itself has fascinated naturalists, mathematicians and physicists for years. The spirally coiled, chambered shell is perfectly proportioned mathematically.

30 Julai lalu Seekor anak kucing tiba di rumah kami di Tanjong Karang (rumah di kampung Bonda). Mengiau - ngiau tak keruan dia....

Seperti keLaparan. mmm makanan apa yang ada di rumah ? mmmm bagi sajalah sardin dalam tin, itu aja pun yang ada dan sesuai untuk dia makan.

Kami namakannya Bilan, sempena jam sembilan malam dia datang.

Esoknya kami belikan biskut kucing. Mmm laju saja Bilan makan, akhirnya berselera juga dia makan...

1 Ogos kami bawa pulang ke rumah Gombak.

Dari Kampong Melaka, Bagan Tengkorak, Tanjung Karang, kami bawakan ke Kampong Bandar Dalam, Kuala LUmpur pula.

Pengenalan pelan kualiti seumur hidup diharap lenyapkan tanggapan negatif

ISU persepsi negatif mengenai kualiti tingkap kuasa atau 'power window' kereta Proton yang sebelum ini menjadi perbualan hingga ke Parlimen, bakal selesai apabila Proton Holdings Bhd akan mengumumkan langkah menanganinya tidak lama lagi.

Ia berikutan pengeluar kereta nasional itu kini sedang merangka pelan jaminan pemberian kualiti seumur hidup khusus bagi menjamin kegunaan harian tingkap kuasanya.

Pengarah Urusannya, Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, berkata rangka kerja itu pada peringkat akhir dan pengumuman mengenainya akan dibuat tidak lama lagi.

Beliau berkata, menerusi pengenalan pelan jaminan itu, ia sekali gus akan melenyapkan terus tanggapan negatif sesetengah pihak terhadap kualiti tingkap kuasa kereta Proton.

Katanya, meskipun kualiti kenderaan Proton, khususnya membabitkan tingkap kuasa itu sudah ditangani sebelum ini, persepsi negatif pengguna terhadap perkara itu masih tidak berubah.

“Sebelum ini, ramai pemilik Proton sering mengadu akibat mengalami masalah tingkap kuasa kenderaan mereka. Namun begitu, menerusi beberapa penambahbaikan teknologi dan kualiti dalam beberapa tahun lalu, tingkap berkuasa kereta Proton kini sudah jauh lebih berkualiti.
“Justeru, sebagai langkah menangani persepsi negatif, selain menunjukkan komitmen Proton yang sentiasa mengutamakan kualiti kereta keluarannya, kami berani mengatakan bahawa kini tidak ada sebarang kecacatan terhadap tingkap kuasa Proton.

“Diharapkan dengan pengenalan jaminan itu tidak lama lagi, ia dapat melenyapkan komen sinis berkenaan,” katanya ketika ditemui Berita Harian di Kuala Lumpur.

Penganalisis automotif ketika dihubungi bagi mengulas pemberian jaminan itu, melihat Proton bergerak dalam landasan yang tepat dan kini mampu memberikan saingan sengit dengan pengeluar kereta jenama antarabangsa lain.

“Sebelum kumpulan itu diterajui oleh Syed Zainal, Proton sudah menggerakkan bahagian penyelidikan dan pembangunannya (R&D) agar menjadi pengeluar sebenar automotif yang berdaya saing dengan model Waja diikuti dengan Gen2.

“Bahagian kualiti dan produksi menjadi keutamaan apabila Proton diambil-alih Syed Zainal yang mana beliau menggabungkan teknologi pengendalian Lotus dengan Proton, sekali gus berupaya menangani masalah kualiti dan mampu mengeluarkan model seperti Persona, Saga dan Exora yang hangat dijual di pasaran,” katanya.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bank Negara Malaysia Deputy Governor, Dato' Mohd Razif bin Abd. Kadir. Allahyarham Dato' Razif passed away peacefully today surrounded by family members and friends.
Allahyarham Dato' Razif joined Bank Negara Malaysia in 1976 and held several senior positions in the Central Bank throughout his career. Among Allahyarham's many responsibilities were the Chief Representative of the Bank Negara Malaysia's London Representative Office and the Director of Bank Negara Malaysia's Bank Regulation Department, the Director General of the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA) from 1999. Allahyarham also served as the first Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB). Allahyarham Dato' Razif was also on Board of the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) and the Board of Bank Negara Malaysia.
Allahyarham Dato' Razif's contribution to central banking, and Malaysia has been immeasurable, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for Allahyarham's service to the Bank and nation. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Allahyarham's family.

KUALA LUMPUR: Timbalan Gabenor Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Datuk Mohd Razif Abd Kadir kembali ke Rahmatullah hari ini, menurut satu kenyataan BNM.

Allahyarham menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya di sisi keluarga dan sahabat handai.

Allahyarham Razif menyertai BNM pada 1976 dan memegang beberapa jawatan kanan di bank pusat sepanjang kerjayanya.

Antaranya ialah sebagai Ketua Perwakilan di Pejabat Perwakilan BNM di London, Pengarah Jabatan Pengawalan Bank BNM dan Ketua Pengarah Lembaga Perkhidmatan Kewangan Luar Pesisir Labuan (LOFSA) sejak 1999.

Allahyarham pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Pengerusi pertama Jawatankuasa Teknikal Lembaga Perkhidmatan Kewangan Islam (IFSB).

Selain itu, Allahyarham juga adalah ahli lembaga Pusat Pendidikan Kewangan Islam Antarabangsa (INCEIF) dan Lembaga Pengarah BNM.

"Sumbangan Allahyarham Datuk Razif kepada perbankan pusat, dan Malaysia amat besar dan kami ingin merakamkan ucapan ribuan terima kasih di atas khidmat Allahyarham kepada bank dan juga negara.
